Mobile Wallet

For a company in the telecommunications sector we have created a mobile solution for micropayments. In particular, this solution allows company employees access to the installation via badge, the payment of automatic vending machines and the canteen or mess using a mobile terminal which supports NFC. The solution permits:

  • The speeding up of micropayments with the elimination of coins and down time for distributors and ticket machines

Case Study

Platform for the management of distributors and networks

For a client who provides digital satellite solutions through a dense network of distributors, we have developed an interface which allows management of all of the operations possible from a distributor and also allows the application of modifications to the network infrastructure.

The characteristics of the platform allow them to:

Guarantee that the distributor can best manage their clients by offering the possibility to create new accounts, modify the information connected with the products and carry out primary troubleshooting activity for problems which may occur during navigation from a terminal

  • Offer the possibility to access the traffic data for an account (or group of accounts) managed by the distributor in real time
  • Be able to interact with the company ticketing system through a web interface
  • Carry out a ‘line quality test’ with a view to verifying the quality of the service offered and offer at the same time a photograph of the state of the infrastructure at a given moment

Case Study

Infrastructure Monitoring

The service offered to a leading client in the Telecoms sector calls for the creation and monitoring of their technological infrastructure in terms of operating systems and networks, with a view to being able to check the reliability of the infrastructure in a continuous way.

Through the use of Nagios XI (NCPA, nrds, nrdp) the monitoring of services and active and passive equipment was set up. This required the implementation of wizard and/or personalized script for the extremely different types of apparatus used by the Client. Cacti was used for the monitoring of server activity and network apparatus connected to the infrastructure which were also extremely diversified. Splunk was used to create the monitoring of system modifications, including, commit, login, logout and activity.

Dashboard summaries were also created to produce and analyse statistics referring to the state of services on the technological infrastructure. Through BPPM (bmc) service models are created which are set up as alarms via Nagios in such a way that the helpdesk (NOC) takes responsibility.
